recently (an hour ago) I got bored and did some cleanup work on the ssf4 logo that was taken by the now infamous french website, jv247.com, which had the newest screenshots of Super Street Fighter 4! I got a hold of haunts and showed it to him. It should be on his site http://www.iplaywinner.com where him and my dude crackfiend (norcal's best boxer) write articles on up-to-date sf4 and other fighting game news.

personally, I'm excited for the next installment of SF4 and can't wait!

Dear Life-Framework Music Video Shoot Pictures are up in the gallery for those of you that were there or missed it, take a peek.

Starting to get back into the groove of things, have been sidelined a while because of technological difficulties but new things are a coming!!!! You won't be disappointed. Staying busy is pretty much a daily thing but I am starting to commit more time into this to keep everyone updated and see what I have been working on. Last night, the Hacienda Heights Hardcore Band Dear Life was shooting a Music Video for their Song, Framework, in the City of Industry, CA it was lots of fun and way too hot but brought back a lot of fun times.

Congratulations again to Loud & Obnoxious Clothing Company for their 2 Year Anniversary, and I can say this for everyone that we all enjoyed the festivities and karaoke with great people.

for years i have been looking for this online... i remember watching this when i was 8 or 9, right around the same time that the power rangers first aired on tv. my dad rented these from the video store next to his office thinking this was the 3 ninjas movies... fortunately, this was one mistake that happened to work out very well. i remember reenacting the gym scene with sofa cushions and blankets to dampen the fall when we did front flips... all in all... i'm so excited to watch these videos again... hopefully you enjoy what i had enjoyed when i was a kid :D

now... if only chuck e. cheese's pizza went back to their old recipe... then we'd be back in business ;)

CANNES 2009 Update

So this past week I have attended the Short Films Corner in Cannes where my film was submitted. We have been working on a short film which was not promoted until now or screened besides at the festival and we are happy to put this film out for everyone out there all over the world to watch this special release of our short film SAILING SHIPS. This was all created and produced in under a week so we would like you to enjoy the film and let us know what you think about it. All comments are welcomed.

Finally after over 24 hours of rendering and compressing I decided to upload straight to youtube the exported footage from fcp since it was under a gig and I was just getting frustrated with my powerbook trying to compress this footage for online streaming to have better image quality but it would just fail when its almost complete. But anyway here it is:

First Weekly Wednesday Night Brea Rides

Last Wednesday, March 11 a couple of the Vipers extended family started a Brea,Ca Night ride around to Fullerton, Yorba Linda and Placentia. Met up with some new people at CSUF and increased the size of the group. We are looking forward to make this ride grow and become even more fun with some exercise. I think I might just be updating this quarterly(well it seems like it) because I have been so busy working on projects and school but at least I have some new footage for you all to enjoy :) Here is a film I have been working on with the help of my brother Darrell who is basically in all of my recent projects, mind you this is really a SHORT film(short and shot on film) but anyway this is the first cut. Like our saying goes, I'm taking it back to the old school ways of photography, which have been proven to be quality resources that has lasted throughout the years but has slowly been forgotten and lost. For the past year I have been investing some time in shooting with Black and White Film, yes FILM!! not digital photos desaturated in Photoshop, to sharpen my skills and be more creative in this limited medium and not be so trigger happy like most people with a digital camera(even myself). I figure the only way to really grasp something is to know how it was done successfully in the past and the hours it takes to get a decent photo, it really makes you appreciate the craft even more. And so I share the fruits of my labor, for now... There are so many other frames to be printed so just keep checking the gallery.
