Hey guys we are in search of actors for an upcoming short film, THE POUND, which I would be doing Cinematography for. So if you or anyone you know is talented and wanting to become a part of something exciting and big, COME OUT AND AUDITION!!!!!! Oct 27-28, 30 & Nov 1

We would love for you to come to our auditions held on Saturday and Sunday, October 27 & 28 (12pm-6pm). Auditions will be held in Fullerton, CA (which is in Orange County, 1 hr away from LA). Synopsis: Cece goes to a speed dating convention. After finding only odd men, her friend Linda suggest going to the pound. At the pound Cece picks out a man Rex. Cece gives Rex a makeover. The next day Cece goes to work and Rex messes up her apartment and hangs out with his buddies all day. Cece tries to change Rex and teach him right from wrong. Cece loses Rex but finds him at a bar with his buddies and a woman he met. Cece disappointed, returns him to the pound and gets a female "cat" instead.

Medium build and height. Cece is a smart, sweet, and emotional woman who is looking for a boyfriend. She is sympathetic and caring. After failed attempts, she gets a boyfriend from the pound. She tries to mold him into her ideal mate but realizes she can't. Cece discovers that changing a man is impossible. She has a parental role over Rex.
REX / Lead / Male / Caucasian / 24-32
Medium build. Rex is a simple, lazy, typical man. Cece picks him out of the pound. He tries to please Cece but he is constantly disappointing her. He does typical male things that frustrate and anger Cece. Cece is trying to change him but he is not having any of it. He wants to be affectionate with Cece. And he notices other women around town.
LINDA / Co-Star / Female / African Am, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic / 24-35
Sassy, girly, energetic, friendly, blunt, California girl. Medium build and height. She gives Cece support and help through her frustrations with dating and Rex. Gets a man from the pound of her own. Helps Cece look for Rex when he runs away.
POUND KEEPER / Supporting / Male or Female / Caucasian / 18-24
A lazy, sarcastic, unhappy, zoo keeper type. He/She gives a tour guide of the pound. He/she hates their job. Needed for one day shoot. Dialogue.
SPIKE / Featured / Male / African Am, Caucasian, Hispanic / 24-32
A body builder type. Intimidating, aggressive, threatening, masculint, alpha male. Is a man in the man pound. Linda adopts him from the pound. Threatens Rex.

Medium build and height. Shy, introverted, awkward, sheltered, Momma's boy. Looking for a motherly girl friend. Meets Cece at a speed dating convention. Only needed for one day shoot. Dialogue.

Medium build and height. Cocky, full of himself, cheesy, talkative, rude, annoying. Meets Cece at speed dating convention. Comes on very strong with Cece. Needed for one day shoot. Dialogue.
